ഇങ്ങനെ ശ്രീസ്കാന്ദ മഹാപുരാണത്തിലെ ഏകാശീതിസാഹസ്രീ സംഹിതയുടെ ഏഴാം പ്രഭാസഖണ്ഡത്തിൽ, പ്രഭാസക്ഷേത്രമാഹാത്മ്യത്തിനകത്ത് ‘ഗംഗേശ്വരമാഹാത്മ്യവർണനം’ എന്ന പേരിലുള്ള അഞ്ചാം അധ്യായം സമാപ്തമായി.
