प्रह्लाद उवाच । गजेपि विष्णुर्भुजगेऽपि विष्णुर्जलेऽपि विष्णुर्ज्वलनेऽपि विष्णुः । त्वयि स्थितो दैत्य मयि स्थितश्च विष्णुं विना दैत्यगणाऽपि नास्ति
prahlāda uvāca | gajepi viṣṇurbhujage'pi viṣṇurjale'pi viṣṇurjvalane'pi viṣṇuḥ | tvayi sthito daitya mayi sthitaśca viṣṇuṃ vinā daityagaṇā'pi nāsti
പ്രഹ്ലാദൻ പറഞ്ഞു: ആനയിലും വിഷ്ണു, പാമ്പിലും വിഷ്ണു, വെള്ളത്തിലും വിഷ്ണു, തീയിലും വിഷ്ണു വസിക്കുന്നു. ഹേ ദൈത്യ, അവൻ നിന്നിലും എന്നിലും സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നു; വിഷ്ണുവില്ലാതെ അസുരഗണത്തിന് പോലും നിലനിൽപ്പില്ല.
