कालेन गच्छता तस्य संजातो विग्रहो महान् । देवाः किं मे करिष्यंति विष्णुना किं प्रयोजनम्
kālena gacchatā tasya saṃjāto vigraho mahān | devāḥ kiṃ me kariṣyaṃti viṣṇunā kiṃ prayojanam
കാലം കടന്നുപോകുന്തോറും അവന്റെ അഹങ്കാരവും ബലവും മഹത്തായി വർധിച്ചു. അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“ദേവന്മാർ എനിക്ക് എന്ത് ചെയ്യും? എനിക്ക് വിഷ്ണു എന്തിന്?”
