यातायातैर्दिनेशस्य पूर्य्यते ब्रह्मणो दिनम् । दिनांते जायते रात्री रात्रौ नश्यंति देवताः

yātāyātairdineśasya pūryyate brahmaṇo dinam | dināṃte jāyate rātrī rātrau naśyaṃti devatāḥ

സൂര്യന്റെ ഗമനാഗമനങ്ങളാൽ ബ്രഹ്മാവിന്റെ ഒരു ദിവസം പൂർണ്ണമാകുന്നു; ദിനാന്തത്തിൽ രാത്രി ഉദിക്കുന്നു, ആ രാത്രിയിൽ ദേവന്മാർ ലയിക്കുന്നു।
