गन्धवंति च पुष्पाणि रसवंति फलानि च । आस्कन्धफलिनो वृक्षाः पुटके पुटके मधु
gandhavaṃti ca puṣpāṇi rasavaṃti phalāni ca | āskandhaphalino vṛkṣāḥ puṭake puṭake madhu
പുഷ്പങ്ങൾ സുഗന്ധവത്തായിരുന്നു; ഫലങ്ങൾ രസപൂർണ്ണമായിരുന്നു. വൃക്ഷങ്ങൾ തണ്ടുവരെയും ഫലഭാരിതമായിരുന്നു; ഓരോ പൊള്ളയിലും തേൻ നിറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു।
