अनेन वाक्येन सुराधिपस्तु चचाल कोपावरितस्तदानीम् । गजेति वज्रेति जगाद सूतं समानयासिं कवचं रथं च
anena vākyena surādhipastu cacāla kopāvaritastadānīm | gajeti vajreti jagāda sūtaṃ samānayāsiṃ kavacaṃ rathaṃ ca
ഈ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ട് ദേവാധിപൻ ഇന്ദ്രൻ വിറച്ചു; അന്നേരം തന്നെ ക്രോധം അവനെ മൂടി. അവൻ സാരഥിയോട്—“ആനയും വജ്രവും കൊണ്ടുവരിക; എന്റെ ഖഡ്ഗം, കവചം, രഥം എന്നിവയും കൊണ്ടുവരിക” എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.
