Sārasvata
Tirtha: Vastrāpatha-kṣetra (darśana-sthala)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Pilgrims/seekers (implied)
Scene: A devotee stands before the deity after darśana, hands extended in nivedana; bonds (chains/knots) dissolve symbolically; behind, Śiva-gaṇas welcome him, indicating gaṇatva lasting until cosmic dissolution.
Darśana joined with sincere offering is presented as a liberating act, granting proximity to Śiva’s retinue.
The merit is framed within the Vastrāpathakṣetra Māhātmya (Prabhāsa Khaṇḍa).
Perform darśana (beholding the deity) and nivedana (offering/presentation) as part of worship.
