tattīrthasya prabhāvena na duṣṭānyācaraṃti te | kālena mṛtyumāyāṃti paśupakṣisarīsṛpāḥ

ആ തീർത്ഥത്തിന്റെ പ്രഭാവംകൊണ്ട് അവർ ദുഷ്കൃത്യങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യുകയില്ല; കാലം വന്നാൽ മൃഗങ്ങളും പക്ഷികളും സർപ്പാദികളും ക്രമമായി സ്വാഭാവിക മരണത്തെ പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.
