pāpaghnaṃ gomatītīraṃ prāpyate puṇyavannaraiḥ | sāgareṇa ca saṃmiśraṃ mahāpātakanāśanam

Translation

ഗോമതിയുടെ പാപഹരമായ തീരം പുണ്യവാന്മാർക്കാണ് ലഭിക്കുന്നത്; അത് സമുദ്രവുമായി സംഗമിക്കുമ്പോൾ മഹാപാതകങ്ങളെയും നശിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
