Transliteration

māghasnānaṃ naro bhaktyā gomatyāṃ kurute tu yaḥ | vainateyodaye nityaṃ saṃtuṣṭaḥ saha bhāryayā

Translation

ഭക്തിയോടെ ഗോമതീനദിയിൽ മാഘസ്നാനം ചെയ്യുന്ന പുരുഷൻ—ദിവസേന ഗരുഡോദയം (സൂര്യോദയം) സമയത്ത്—ഭാര്യയോടുകൂടെ സന്തുഷ്ടനായി ഇരുന്നാൽ, പ്രശംസിതമായ വ്രതഫലം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.
