उक्त्वा बाढमिति ब्रह्मा ततः सृष्टौ मनो दधे । ससर्ज मानसात्सद्यः सनकाद्यान्कुमारकान् । उवाच वचनं ब्रह्मा प्रजाः सृजत पुत्रकाः
uktvā bāḍhamiti brahmā tataḥ sṛṣṭau mano dadhe | sasarja mānasātsadyaḥ sanakādyānkumārakān | uvāca vacanaṃ brahmā prajāḥ sṛjata putrakāḥ
“ബാഢം” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു ബ്രഹ്മാവ് സൃഷ്ടിയിൽ മനസ്സു നിർത്തി. അദ്ദേഹം മാനസത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ഉടൻ സനകാദി കുമാരന്മാരെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു; “പുത്രകരേ, പ്രജകളെ സൃഷ്ടിക്കുവിൻ” എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു।
