samāgamaṃ labhante ca bāndhavāśca pravāsibhiḥ | skāndaṃ purāṇaṃ śrutvā tu pumānāpnoti vāñchitam

പ്രവാസത്തിലുള്ള ബന്ധുക്കളോടും സ്വജനങ്ങൾക്ക് പുനർമേളനം ലഭിക്കും; സ്കന്ദപുരാണം ശ്രവിച്ചാൽ മനുഷ്യൻ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചതെല്ലാം പ്രാപിക്കും।
