प्रह्लाद उवाच । पूर्वं हि देवराजेन बृहस्पतिरुदारधीः । प्रणम्य परया भक्त्या पृष्टश्च स महामतिः
prahlāda uvāca | pūrvaṃ hi devarājena bṛhaspatirudāradhīḥ | praṇamya parayā bhaktyā pṛṣṭaśca sa mahāmatiḥ
പ്രഹ്ലാദൻ പറഞ്ഞു—മുൻകാലത്ത് ദേവരാജൻ ഇന്ദ്രൻ പരമഭക്തിയോടെ നമസ്കരിച്ചു, ഉദാരബുദ്ധിയുള്ള മഹാമതി ബൃഹസ്പതിയോട് ചോദ്യം ചെയ്തു।
