सूत उवाच । इति पृष्टस्तदा तैस्तु महाभागवतोऽसुरः । कथयामास विप्रेभ्यो भगवद्भक्तिसंयुतः
sūta uvāca | iti pṛṣṭastadā taistu mahābhāgavato'suraḥ | kathayāmāsa viprebhyo bhagavadbhaktisaṃyutaḥ
സൂതൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഇങ്ങനെ അവർ ചോദിച്ചപ്പോൾ, മഹാഭാഗവതനായ ആ അസുരൻ ഭഗവദ്ഭക്തിയാൽ സമന്വിതനായി ബ്രാഹ്മണന്മാർക്കു വിശദീകരിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി।
