yaḥ kuryyājjāgare viṣṇoḥ śāligrāmaśilāgrataḥ | śālagrāmaśilāgre tu ye prakurvaṃti jāgaram

ശാലിഗ്രാമശിലയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ വിഷ്ണുവിന് ജാഗരണം ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ—അതായത് ശാലിഗ്രാമശിലയുടെ മുമ്പിൽ രാത്രിജാഗരണം അനുഷ്ഠിക്കുന്നവർ—(മഹാപുണ്യം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു)।
