विदधे वज्रमयं तु किं न्विदं हृदयं मेऽतिकठोरमेव हि । शतधा न विदीर्यते यतो विरहे दुर्विषहे मधुद्विषः

vidadhe vajramayaṃ tu kiṃ nvidaṃ hṛdayaṃ me'tikaṭhorameva hi | śatadhā na vidīryate yato virahe durviṣahe madhudviṣaḥ

വിധാതാവ് എന്റെ ഹൃദയം വജ്രമയമാക്കിയോ? അതി കഠിനം തന്നേ; കാരണം മധുദ്വിഷ് (കൃഷ്ണൻ) എന്നവനോടുള്ള ദുർവിഷഹ വിരഹത്തിലും അത് ശതധാ പിളരുന്നില്ല।
