गोप्यं यत्पातकं पुंसां गोमती तद्व्यपोहति । स्मरणात्कीर्त्तनाद्वापि किं पुनः प्लवने कृते
gopyaṃ yatpātakaṃ puṃsāṃ gomatī tadvyapohati | smaraṇātkīrttanādvāpi kiṃ punaḥ plavane kṛte
മനുഷ്യരുടെ മറഞ്ഞ പാപം ഏതായാലും ഗോമതി അതിനെ അകറ്റുന്നു. സ്മരണയാലോ കീർത്തനയാലോ ഫലം ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ, സ്നാനിച്ച് മുങ്ങുമ്പോൾ എത്ര അധികമാകും!
