विलयं यांति पापानि जन्मकोटिकृतान्यपि । वृथा संन्यासिनां पुण्यं वृथा च वनवासिनाम्
vilayaṃ yāṃti pāpāni janmakoṭikṛtānyapi | vṛthā saṃnyāsināṃ puṇyaṃ vṛthā ca vanavāsinām
കോടി ജന്മങ്ങളിൽ ചെയ്ത പാപങ്ങളും ലയിച്ചുപോകുന്നു. ഇതിന്റെ മുന്നിൽ സന്ന്യാസികളുടെ പുണ്യവും যেন വ്യർത്ഥം; വനവാസികളുടെ പുണ്യവും যেন വ്യർത്ഥം।
