दर्शश्च पौर्णमासी च साग्निकैः पूर्वसंयुता । नाग्निहीनैस्तु कर्त्तव्या पुनराह प्रजापतिः

darśaśca paurṇamāsī ca sāgnikaiḥ pūrvasaṃyutā | nāgnihīnaistu karttavyā punarāha prajāpatiḥ

സാഗ്നികര്‍ (അഗ്നിധാരികള്‍) ദര്‍ശവും പൗര്‍ണമാസിയും ‘പൂര്‍വ’ സംയോഗത്തോടെ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതാണ്; അഗ്നിഹീനര്‍ എന്നാല്‍ ഭിന്നവിധിയില്‍ ചെയ്യണം—ഇങ്ങനെ പ്രജാപതി വീണ്ടും പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു.
