yugādiṣu ca saṃpūjya hyayane dakṣiṇottare | āṣāḍhajyeṣṭhamāgheṣu pauṣādidvādaśīṣu ca

യുഗാദി ദിനങ്ങളിൽ, ദക്ഷിണായന-ഉത്തരായന സംധിക്കാലങ്ങളിൽ, ആഷാഢ-ജ്യേഷ്ഠ-മാഘ മാസങ്ങളിൽ, കൂടാതെ പൗഷം മുതലായ ദ്വാദശീ വ്രതദിനങ്ങളിൽ വിധിപൂർവ്വം പൂജ ചെയ്താൽ മഹാപുണ്യം ലഭിക്കുന്നു।
