दुर्वाससमथोवाच किमिदं न म्रियेत यत् । मयाऽसकृच्छिरश्छिन्नं खंडशस्तिलशः कृतम्
durvāsasamathovāca kimidaṃ na mriyeta yat | mayā'sakṛcchiraśchinnaṃ khaṃḍaśastilaśaḥ kṛtam
അപ്പോൾ ദുർവാസാവ് പറഞ്ഞു—“ഇത് എന്ത്, ഇത് മരിക്കാത്തതെന്ത്? ഞാൻ പലവട്ടം ഇതിന്റെ തല വെട്ടി, എള്ളുതുള്ളിപോലെ ഖണ്ഡഖണ്ഡമായി ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.”
