सारथेस्तु शिरः कायादर्द्धचंद्रेण पत्त्रिणा । चिच्छेद धनुरेकेन ध्वजमेकेन चिच्छिदे
sārathestu śiraḥ kāyādarddhacaṃdreṇa pattriṇā | ciccheda dhanurekena dhvajamekena cicchide
അർദ്ധചന്ദ്രാകൃതിയുള്ള അമ്പുകൊണ്ട് അവൻ സാരഥിയുടെ തല ശരീരത്തിൽ നിന്ന് വേർപ്പെടുത്തി; ഒരു അമ്പുകൊണ്ട് ധനുസ്സും, മറ്റൊന്നുകൊണ്ട് ധ്വജവും മുറിച്ചു.
