इत्युक्त्वा दर्शयामास शरीरं दैत्यताडितम् । तद्ब्राह्मणावमानं च दृष्ट्वा चुक्रोध वामनः
ityuktvā darśayāmāsa śarīraṃ daityatāḍitam | tadbrāhmaṇāvamānaṃ ca dṛṣṭvā cukrodha vāmanaḥ
ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞ് ദൈത്യന്മാർ അടിച്ചുതകർത്ത തന്റെ ശരീരം അവൻ കാണിച്ചു. ആ ബ്രാഹ്മണനോടുള്ള അപമാനം കണ്ട വാമനൻ ക്രുദ്ധനായി.
