evaṃ citayamānaḥ sa jñānadṛṣṭyā mahāmuniḥ | gomatyā saṃgamo yatra cakratīrthena bho dvijāḥ

ഇങ്ങനെ ചിന്തിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്ന ആ മഹാമുനി ജ്ഞാനദൃഷ്ടിയാൽ—ഹേ ദ്വിജന്മാരേ—ഗോമതിയുടെ സംഗമം ചക്രതീർത്ഥത്തോടു ചേർന്നിരിക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലം ദർശിച്ചു.
