एतस्मात्कारणाद्विप्राः प्रथमं पूज्यते सदा । गंधधूपाक्षतैर्वस्त्रैर्मोदकैस्तं प्रतर्पयेत्
etasmātkāraṇādviprāḥ prathamaṃ pūjyate sadā | gaṃdhadhūpākṣatairvastrairmodakaistaṃ pratarpayet
ഈ കാരണത്താൽ, ഹേ വിപ്രന്മാരേ, അവനെ എപ്പോഴും ആദ്യം പൂജിക്കുന്നു. ഗന്ധം, ധൂപം, അക്ഷതം, വസ്ത്രം, മോദകം എന്നിവ അർപ്പിച്ച് തൃപ്തിപ്പെടുത്തണം.
