विशाखोवाच । न शीलं न कुलं यस्य नास्ति पापकृतं भयम् । तस्य स्त्रीहनने साध्व्यो ज्ञायते जन्म कर्म च । हीनस्य पुरुषार्थेन तेन संगो निरर्थकः
viśākhovāca | na śīlaṃ na kulaṃ yasya nāsti pāpakṛtaṃ bhayam | tasya strīhanane sādhvyo jñāyate janma karma ca | hīnasya puruṣārthena tena saṃgo nirarthakaḥ
വിശാഖ പറഞ്ഞു—യാരിൽ ശീലവും ഇല്ല, കുലമര്യാദയും ഇല്ല, പാപകൃത്യഭയവും ഇല്ല; അവന്റെ സ്ത്രീഹനനത്താൽ, ഹേ സാധ്വികളേ, അവന്റെ ജന്മവും കർമ്മവും വെളിവാകുന്നു. അത്തരം ഹീനൻ, സ്വാർത്ഥസാധകനോടുള്ള സംഗം നിഷ്ഫലം.
