ययौ दैत्यैः परिवृतः पातालादमरावतीम् । तदा युद्धमतीवासीद्देवानां दानवैः सह
yayau daityaiḥ parivṛtaḥ pātālādamarāvatīm | tadā yuddhamatīvāsīddevānāṃ dānavaiḥ saha
അവൻ ദൈത്യന്മാരാൽ ചുറ്റപ്പെട്ട് പാതാളത്തിൽ നിന്ന് അമരാവതിയിലേക്കു പുറപ്പെട്ടു. അപ്പോൾ ദേവന്മാരും ദാനവന്മാരും തമ്മിൽ അത്യന്തം ഘോരമായ യുദ്ധം പൊട്ടിപ്പുറപ്പെട്ടു.
