यावद्भावा ह्यनेकाश्च इंद्रियार्थास्तथैव च । यावच्च ममताभावस्तावदीशो हि दुर्लभः
yāvadbhāvā hyanekāśca iṃdriyārthāstathaiva ca | yāvacca mamatābhāvastāvadīśo hi durlabhaḥ
മനം പലഭാവങ്ങളിലേക്കു ഓടിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കയും, ഇന്ദ്രിയവിഷയങ്ങൾ നിലനിൽക്കയും, ‘എന്റെത്’ എന്ന മമത തുടരുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നിടത്തോളം— ഈശ്വരപ്രാപ്തി സത്യത്തിൽ ദുർലഭമാണ്।
