श्रुत्वा सुराश्च ऋषयस्तस्य वाक्यमपूजयन् । तदा विष्णुरुवाचेदं ब्रह्माणं प्रहसन्निव
śrutvā surāśca ṛṣayastasya vākyamapūjayan | tadā viṣṇuruvācedaṃ brahmāṇaṃ prahasanniva
ആ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ട് ദേവന്മാരും ഋഷിമാരും അവയെ പൂജ്യമായി ആദരിച്ചു. തുടർന്ന് വിഷ്ണു, മൃദുവായ അർത്ഥഭരിതമായ പുഞ്ചിരിയോടെ, ബ്രഹ്മാവിനോട് ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞു।
