किमायामं च विस्तारं क्व चांतः क्व च पीठिका । इति चिंतान्विता विष्णुमूचुः सर्वे सुरास्तदा
kimāyāmaṃ ca vistāraṃ kva cāṃtaḥ kva ca pīṭhikā | iti ciṃtānvitā viṣṇumūcuḥ sarve surāstadā
“ഇതിന്റേ നീളവും വീതിയും എത്ര? ഇതിന്റെ അറ്റം എവിടെ, ഇതിന്റെ പീഠം എവിടെ?”—എന്ന ചിന്തയോടെ അപ്പോൾ എല്ലാ ദേവന്മാരും വിഷ്ണുവിനോട് പറഞ്ഞു।
