वितानं ये प्रयच्छति नराः सुकृतिनोपि हि । तारयति कुलं कृत्स्नं शिवलोकं गताः पुनः
vitānaṃ ye prayacchati narāḥ sukṛtinopi hi | tārayati kulaṃ kṛtsnaṃ śivalokaṃ gatāḥ punaḥ
പുണ്യവാന്മാർ വിതാനം (ഛത്രം/മണ്ഡപാവരണം) ദാനം ചെയ്താൽ അവർ സമസ്ത കുലത്തെയും തരിക്കുന്നു; ശിവലോകം പ്രാപിച്ച് അവർ വീണ്ടും സ്വന്തം കുലത്തിന്റെ രക്ഷകരാകുന്നു।
