ततो नंदिनमागत्य पुरोधा गतमानसम् । अब्रवोद्वचनं तं तु कस्मात्त्वं गतमानसः
tato naṃdinamāgatya purodhā gatamānasam | abravodvacanaṃ taṃ tu kasmāttvaṃ gatamānasaḥ
അപ്പോൾ പുരോഹിതൻ നന്ദിയുടെ അടുക്കൽ വന്ന്, അവൻ വിഷണ്ണചിത്തനായിരിക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു പറഞ്ഞു— “നിന്റെ മനസ്സ് എന്തുകൊണ്ട് ഇങ്ങനെ കലങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു?”
