दक्षेणोक्तो महाविष्णुरुवाच परिसांत्वयन् । त्रैगण्यविषया वेदाः संभवंति न चान्यथा
dakṣeṇokto mahāviṣṇuruvāca parisāṃtvayan | traigaṇyaviṣayā vedāḥ saṃbhavaṃti na cānyathā
ദക്ഷൻ ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ മഹാവിഷ്ണു അവനെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിച്ച് പറഞ്ഞു—വേദങ്ങൾ ത്രിഗുണങ്ങളെ വിഷയമാക്കി ഉദ്ഭവിക്കുന്നു; ഇതല്ലാതെ മറ്റെങ്ങനെ ഇല്ല.
