यावच्छंभुर्दूरतो नाभिगच्छेत्तावद्गत्वा शंकरं क्षामयस्व । नो चेतन्वि क्षामयेथाः शिवं त्वं दुःखं पश्चात्ते भविष्यत्यवश्यम्
yāvacchaṃbhurdūrato nābhigacchettāvadgatvā śaṃkaraṃ kṣāmayasva | no cetanvi kṣāmayethāḥ śivaṃ tvaṃ duḥkhaṃ paścātte bhaviṣyatyavaśyam
ദൂരത്തുനിന്ന് ശംഭു ഇവിടെ എത്തുന്നതിന് മുമ്പേ ഉടൻ ചെന്നു ശങ്കരനോട് ക്ഷമ യാചിക്കൂ. ഹേ സുകുമാരീ! നീ ശിവനെ പ്രസന്നനാക്കാതിരുന്നാൽ, പിന്നീടു നിനക്കു തീർച്ചയായും ദുഃഖം വരും.
