śobhamāno mahādeva ebhiḥ sarvaiḥ suśobhanaiḥ | aṃtaḥpuragatā devī pārvatī sā hi durmanāḥ

ഈ എല്ലാ മനോഹരമായ അനുചരന്മാരാൽ മഹാദേവൻ അത്യന്തം ശോഭിച്ചു; എന്നാൽ അന്തഃപുരത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ദേവി പാർവതി മനസ്സിൽ വിഷണ്ണയായി ഇരുന്നു.
