Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 18

चिराद्भर्तरी नायाते चिन्तयामास लुब्धकी । अद्य सायाह्नवेलायामागताः सर्वलुब्धकाः

Transliteration

cirādbhartarī nāyāte cintayāmāsa lubdhakī | adya sāyāhnavelāyāmāgatāḥ sarvalubdhakāḥ

Translation

നേരം ഏറെ കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടും ഭർത്താവ് വരാതിരുന്നതോടെ വേട്ടക്കാരന്റെ ഭാര്യ ചിന്തിച്ചു—“ഇന്ന് സന്ധ്യയ്ക്കുള്ളിൽ എല്ലാ വേട്ടക്കാരും മടങ്ങിയല്ലോ.”
