ऋषय ऊचुः । किन्नामा च किरातोऽभूत्किं तेन व्रतमाहितम् । तत्त्वं कथय विप्रेंद्र परं कौतूहलं हि नः
ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | kinnāmā ca kirāto'bhūtkiṃ tena vratamāhitam | tattvaṃ kathaya vipreṃdra paraṃ kautūhalaṃ hi naḥ
ഋഷികൾ പറഞ്ഞു—ആ കിരാതന്റെ പേര് എന്തായിരുന്നു? അവൻ ഏതു വ്രതമാണ് സ്വീകരിച്ചത്? ഹേ വിപ്രേന്ദ്രാ, സത്യം പറയുക; ഞങ്ങളുടെ കൗതുകം അത്യന്തം।
