तावत्तं ददृशे सोऽपि स्थितं द्वारि भयावृतम् । उवाच कालो हि तदा यमं वैवस्वतं प्रति
tāvattaṃ dadṛśe so'pi sthitaṃ dvāri bhayāvṛtam | uvāca kālo hi tadā yamaṃ vaivasvataṃ prati
അപ്പോൾ അവനും വാതിലിങ്കൽ ഭയാവൃതനായി നില്ക്കുന്നവനെ കണ്ടു. തുടർന്ന് കാലൻ വൈവസ്വത യമനോടു വചനം പറഞ്ഞു.
