അപ്പോൾ കാർത്തികേയൻ തന്റെ ശക്തിയാൽ ശത്രുവിന്റെ ശിരസ് ഛേദിച്ചു. അതേ ക്ഷണത്തിൽ തന്നെ താരകന്റെ ശിരസ് ഭൂമിയിൽ പതിച്ചു. ഇങ്ങനെ മഹാപ്രഭു കാർത്തികേയൻ വിജയം പ്രാപിച്ചു.
