कार्त्तिकेयस्ततः शक्त्या निचकर्त रिपोः शिरः । तच्छिरो निपपातोर्व्यां तारकस्य च तत्क्षणात् । एवं स जयमापेदे कार्त्तिकेयो महाप्रभुः
kārttikeyastataḥ śaktyā nicakarta ripoḥ śiraḥ | tacchiro nipapātorvyāṃ tārakasya ca tatkṣaṇāt | evaṃ sa jayamāpede kārttikeyo mahāprabhuḥ
അപ്പോൾ കാർത്തികേയൻ തന്റെ ശക്തിയാൽ ശത്രുവിന്റെ ശിരസ് ഛേദിച്ചു. അതേ ക്ഷണത്തിൽ തന്നെ താരകന്റെ ശിരസ് ഭൂമിയിൽ പതിച്ചു. ഇങ്ങനെ മഹാപ്രഭു കാർത്തികേയൻ വിജയം പ്രാപിച്ചു.
