एवं भूतस्तदा यज्ञो जातस्तस्य दुरात्मनः । दक्षस्य ब्रह्मबंधोश्च ऋषयो भयमागताः

Transliteration

evaṃ bhūtastadā yajño jātastasya durātmanaḥ | dakṣasya brahmabaṃdhośca ṛṣayo bhayamāgatāḥ

Translation

ഇങ്ങനെ ആ ദുരാത്മാവായ, പേരിനേ ബ്രാഹ്മണബന്ധുവായ ദക്ഷന്റെ യജ്ഞം അങ്ങനെ തന്നെയായി. ഋഷിമാർ ഭയാകുലരായി.
