niṃdāyuktaṃ svapitaraṃ vilokya ruṣitā bhṛśam | ciṃtayaṃtī tadā devī kathaṃ yāsyāmi maṃdire

Translation

സ്വന്തം പിതാവിനെ നിന്ദയാൽ നിറഞ്ഞവനായി കണ്ടപ്പോൾ ദേവി അത്യന്തം ക്രുദ്ധയായി. പിന്നെ അവൾ ചിന്തിച്ചു—“ഞാൻ ഗൃഹത്തിലേക്ക് (ശിവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ) എങ്ങനെ മടങ്ങും?”
