दृष्ट्वा तमायांतमतीव चंडमव्यक्तरूपं बलिनां वरिष्ठम् । दैत्यो बभाषे सुरसत्तमानमसौ कुमारो द्विषतां निहंता
dṛṣṭvā tamāyāṃtamatīva caṃḍamavyaktarūpaṃ balināṃ variṣṭham | daityo babhāṣe surasattamānamasau kumāro dviṣatāṃ nihaṃtā
അവനെ വരുന്നതുകണ്ട്—അത്യന്തം ചണ്ഡൻ, അവ്യക്തരൂപൻ, ബലവാന്മാരിൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠൻ—ദൈത്യൻ ദേവശ്രേഷ്ഠനോട് പറഞ്ഞു: “ഈ കുമാരൻ ശത്രുനാശകനാണ്.”
