युद्धं सुतुमुलं ह्यासीद्देवदैत्यसमाकुलम् । रुण्डमुण्डांकितं सर्वं क्षणेन समपद्यत
Transliteration
yuddhaṃ sutumulaṃ hyāsīddevadaityasamākulam | ruṇḍamuṇḍāṃkitaṃ sarvaṃ kṣaṇena samapadyata
Translation
ദേവദൈത്യസമാകുലമായ ആ യുദ്ധം അത്യന്തം തുമുലമായിരുന്നു; ക്ഷണത്തിൽ തന്നെ എല്ലാം റുണ്ടും മുണ്ടും കൊണ്ടുള്ള അടയാളങ്ങളാൽ നിറഞ്ഞതായി മാറി।
