नारद उवाच । पुरा देवैः कृतो यत्नो वधार्थं नात्र संशयः । तवैव चासुरश्रेष्ठ मयोक्तं नान्यथा भवेत्
nārada uvāca | purā devaiḥ kṛto yatno vadhārthaṃ nātra saṃśayaḥ | tavaiva cāsuraśreṣṭha mayoktaṃ nānyathā bhavet
നാരദൻ പറഞ്ഞു—മുമ്പ് ദേവന്മാർ നിന്റെ വധത്തിനായി ശ്രമം ചെയ്തിരുന്നു; ഇതിൽ സംശയമില്ല। അസുരശ്രേഷ്ഠാ, ഞാൻ നിന്നോട് പറഞ്ഞത് നിന്റെ കാര്യത്തിൽ തന്നെയുള്ള സത്യം; അത് മറ്റെങ്ങനെ സംഭവിക്കുകയില്ല।
