द्व्यक्षरं नाम येषां च जिह्वाग्रे संस्थितं सदा । शिवेति द्व्यक्षरं नाम यैर्हृदीरितमद्य वै । ते वै मनुष्यरूपेण रुद्रा एव न संशयः
dvyakṣaraṃ nāma yeṣāṃ ca jihvāgre saṃsthitaṃ sadā | śiveti dvyakṣaraṃ nāma yairhṛdīritamadya vai | te vai manuṣyarūpeṇa rudrā eva na saṃśayaḥ
യാരുടെ ജിഹ്വാഗ്രത്തിൽ സദാ ദ്വ്യക്ഷര നാമം നിലകൊള്ളുന്നുവോ, യാരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ‘ശിവ’ എന്ന ദ്വ്യക്ഷര നാമം ഉച്ചരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നുവോ—അവർ മനുഷ്യരൂപത്തിലായാലും സംശയമില്ലാതെ രുദ്രന്മാരാണ്।
