स्वकालयस्थो हिमवान्स रेजे हि महा यशा । शिवसंपर्कजेनैव महसा परमेम च । विख्यातो हि महाशैलस्त्रिषु लोकेषु विश्रुतः
svakālayastho himavānsa reje hi mahā yaśā | śivasaṃparkajenaiva mahasā paramema ca | vikhyāto hi mahāśailastriṣu lokeṣu viśrutaḥ
സ്വന്തം യഥോചിത വാസസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ നിലകൊണ്ട മഹായശസ്സുള്ള ഹിമവാൻ, ശിവസമ്പർക്കത്തിൽ നിന്നുയർന്ന പരമ തേജസ്സാൽ അത്യന്തം ദീപ്തനായി. ആ മഹാശൈലം ത്രിലോകങ്ങളിലും വിഖ്യാതവും പ്രസിദ്ധവുമായി.
