अन्याश्चैव तथा सर्वाः पुरस्कृत्य सदाशिवम् । गंतुकामाश्चोग्रतरा भूतैः प्रेतैः समावृताः
anyāścaiva tathā sarvāḥ puraskṛtya sadāśivam | gaṃtukāmāścogratarā bhūtaiḥ pretaiḥ samāvṛtāḥ
മറ്റു പല ദേവിമാരും—എല്ലാവരും—സദാശിവനെ മുൻപിൽ നിർത്തി മുന്നോട്ട് പോകാൻ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചു. അത്യന്തം ഉഗ്രരായി അവർ ഭൂത-പ്രേതങ്ങളാൽ ചുറ്റപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.
