यत्कार्यं तन्न जानामि सर्वं पाणिग्रहोचितम् । शंभोस्तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा प्रहस्य मधुसूदनः

Transliteration

yatkāryaṃ tanna jānāmi sarvaṃ pāṇigrahocitam | śaṃbhostadvacanaṃ śrutvā prahasya madhusūdanaḥ

Translation

(വിഷ്ണു പറഞ്ഞു:) “പാണിഗ്രഹണ-സംസ്കാരത്തിന് യോജ്യമായ കർമ്മങ്ങൾ എല്ലാം ഞാൻ ഇനിയും അറിയുന്നില്ല.” ശംഭുവിന്റെ വചനം കേട്ട് മധുസൂദനൻ (വിഷ്ണു) പുഞ്ചിരിച്ചു.
