किमर्थमागता यूयं ब्रूतागमनकारणम् । तदोचुः सप्त ऋषयो महेशप्रेरिता वयम्
kimarthamāgatā yūyaṃ brūtāgamanakāraṇam | tadocuḥ sapta ṛṣayo maheśapreritā vayam
“നിങ്ങൾ എന്തിനാണ് വന്നത്? വരവിന്റെ കാരണം പറയുക.” അപ്പോൾ സപ്ത ഋഷികൾ പറഞ്ഞു—“ഞങ്ങൾ മഹേശൻ (ശിവൻ) പ്രേരിപ്പിച്ചവരാണ്.”
