तदोवाच महाबाहो गिरिजां प्रहसन्निव । स्वभावेनैव तत्सर्वं जंगमाजंगमं महत् । जातं त्वया मोहितं च त्रिगुणैः परिवेष्टितम्
tadovāca mahābāho girijāṃ prahasanniva | svabhāvenaiva tatsarvaṃ jaṃgamājaṃgamaṃ mahat | jātaṃ tvayā mohitaṃ ca triguṇaiḥ pariveṣṭitam
അപ്പോൾ മഹാബാഹുവായ പ്രഭു ഗിരിജയോട് പുഞ്ചിരിയോടെ പറഞ്ഞു— ‘നിന്റെ സ്വഭാവം കൊണ്ടുതന്നെ ഈ മഹത്തായ ജഗത്ത്, ചരവും അചരവും, ഉത്ഭവിച്ചു; ഇത് ത്രിഗുണങ്ങളാൽ പൊതിഞ്ഞ് മോഹിതമായിരിക്കുന്നു.’
